Thoughts

7 years yesterday Mum...wow it's an eternity it seems to me. I miss you with all my heart, I miss family life which has but disappeared since you've been gone :( ... Pat is my strongest connection to you now, he loves you so very much, I don't know what I will do when it's time for him to join you, hoping that will still be a long time away, but his stubbornness in looking after Joan is not doing his health any good at all. Mum I wish you were here to talk to, to have a hug, to just sit quietly with, to have that voice of reason guiding me, still so very lost without you. In my thoughts every single day xxxx

My mind has been travelling back to memories at Icklesham lately, have a lot of think time when out with the pup! I think they are probably my most happy memories back at Icklesham growing up, think life was pretty perfect. We spent lots of time in the garden together, sunning, gardening, paddling pool, Keefy, guinea pigs (lots of lol!), swimming, school there which I loved, hiking to the store that seemed a mile away to pick up prescriptions, getting old enough to go to the swings with friends, trailing over the fields, special easters and christmas's, looking after Mr and Mrs Banisters garden when they were away and having fresh peas out of the pods, rides on Nigel's motorbike. You gave me the best childhood with so many happy memories. Pat on his milk float stopping for his milky coffee, natural yoghurt for me, cream soda floats mmm, you making jams (plum yum :) ) and marmalade (yuck lol) home made orange squash eugh lol. Getting home from school on cake bake day, raspberry buns (generally rock hard hee hee) lovely when warm, family sunday roast dinners, a drive to the country with pub stop on the way coke and crisps, fruit picking, dog walking at fairlight and fabulous beach days with a picnic, happy happy times, much loved and much missed xxxxx
